Back From The Ball
Tuesday, April 11, 2006

We had such a good time at the Ball. It was so nice be amongst people who have had the surgery and understood where we have all been. One support group leader gave a really great talk about life after the surgery. It was very reaffirming. I don't think there was a dry eye in the hall!
I have uploaded some pictures to my Flikr account, but I will try to get one or two here too.

I don't think I have the link to your flickr account. But I love the ball pics, it's nice to see people dressed up - I don't get the chance to these days!

You all look awesome, T! Wow! How much have your mom and Adam each lost now? You are itty bitty!
About post-op pregnancy, my ob is planning to check my levels, particularly my iron, at every visit to ensure that I'm getting enough of everything for the baby. I swear the lab tech in his office uses huge needles, though, so I'm not sure I'm looking forward to monthly blood draws! Dr P said we would discuss other wls-specific pregnancy concerns and plans after the viability u/s.
